The transactions recorded in the activity, timesheet and leave histories should be checked each pay period, prior to payment, to ensure they match authorisations.


Top tips

1 Click the down arrows to order columns–from newest to oldest or in alphabetical order.


2 The employee list allows you to filter for status and tenure.

3 Type 'sorting and filtering in Excel' into Google search to learn how to sort and filter columns in CSVs.



Using the leave history or timesheet history for checking transactions







Save the CSV and/or print for checking, signing and filing for audit. If approval is via email (eg by board member) file the approval email in the same folder as the CSV.
