Checking the progress of applications that were submitted in the portal before 18 September 2024
The portal is no longer accepting new applications from 18 September 2024, but if you submitted before this date, your application will still be processed.
Log into the Salary assessment application portal to check on the progress of their application.
The progress bar across the top of the screen shows the different stages an application goes through before the assessment is completed.
The blue arrow will show the stage your application is currently.

School administrator has begun checking supporting documents. |

School or Education Payroll has requested more information from the teacher, but the application had enough information for it to be submitted to Education Payroll for an interim assessment. |
| Principal sign-off |
Principal is certifying documents, checking work experience and verifying the application. |
| Submitted to EPL |
Principal has submitted the teacher's application to Education Payroll. |
| EPL assessing |
Education Payroll is assessing the application (15 business days). |
| Reviewing |
Application has been sent to the Ministry of Education for assessing eg if the application includes other evidence supporting documents.
